We built a really solid internal CRM that tracks our customer funnel and some touchpoints built in through Mandrill. A lot of our CRM is automated for us. We talked to Salesforce and it seems like it might be relevant at some point.
We are in constant communication with our users through Mandrill and our backend system.
For customer service, we use Intercom as a live chat for people to contact us. We provide direct access to our customer support, who we call “mommy advocates.” We have an internal direct messaging tool that we’ve built into our rails app that direct messages them. It’s an open platform of communication that way.
We use PersistIQ to do outreach for potential partners. I like it. The first thing I really liked about PersistIQ is that it makes emails look like it came from my Gmail inbox, it doesn’t say “via…” And replies come straight to my inbox. The scheduling and touchpoints are good and there’s a similar IFTTT feature that pings me if they reply, or “if they don’t reply, do this,” etc.
We use HubSpot for email opens and clicks. We’re not using some of their other offerings, but it’s on our roadmap. When it becomes more relevant, we will definitely be using HubSpot.
We use Privy for email list popups.
We are all over Trello. It seems like my life is all over my Trello boards. We use Trello for everything: growth ideas, development, initiatives, financials, budgeting, marketing, operations, fulfillment… If it’s not in our internal dashboard, it’s on Trello and we love it.
