We switched to HubSpot from Salesforce. Salesforce was too expensive for what we needed. I think that HubSpot will scale well. Already as it is now, it is almost as customizable as Salesforce. As soon as they will implement custom objects, it will be just as good.
We use SendGrid for transactional emails. It works very well and has better deliverability than Amazon.
We used to use Marketo but we switched to Autopilot. It is event-based and less expensive than Marketo.
Outreach has a very good API and is essential to customize outbound campaigns.
We moved everything to Google Drive from Dropbox. It has everything we need. We did it because I didn’t like to have copies of all of our files on every computer locally. Also, with Dropbox, not everyone had access to the documents because it is expensive to open new accounts. Google Drive is fairly intuitive.The collaboration tool of Google Drive is so much better.
We use Slack--it’s been great. We get marketing notifications every time someone reaches out to us. We use some of the plugins apps and we also set up our own custom Slack notifications settings.
At Scripted we match businesses with writers. We make it easy it with a flat membership fee. We screen every single writer that gets accepted. Most of our customers are small businesses that need a post every week.
Parrot QA is an automated browser based testing framework that we use to make sure the UI doesn’t break.
