The Base CRM pricing model is difficult to understand in the beginning; you have to look through the app itself to understand which features are unlocked on which pricing tier. We tested several CRMs but this one was the only one that had all the built-in features we needed and we did not have to install any extensions or develop plugins. It is not hard to change steps in the customer journey. It also allows us to assign contracts to different team members. The dashboard has a really useful overview that tells us how much money we have on outstanding leads. As our sales funnel is somewhat more complex than in a usual B2B startup, adaptability was an important issue for us. The one thing we would wish for is for direct integration possibilities with Trello.

We used BaseCRM over two years ago but it was too lightweight. I wouldn’t say Salesforce is great.

I really like Base! We didn’t need a CRM before we built our back-end system for delivery orders. But since we are also doing wholesale orders right now, it makes sense for our sales team to use a CRM. We just finished the integration with our backend so things push together very well and are in sync. One thing I would like to have is webhooks, so when actions happen, it automatically communicates with our back end.

3%Stacklist Startups Are Using Base
Base is a customer relationship management software that excels at focusing in on your sales pipeline through an intuitive interface and easy task management. It has a nice spread of features for midsized startups that make it useful but not overwhelming, and it also has a mobile app for on-the-go needs. That said, Base doesn’t have many of the features (or quality of features) that are essential for larger companies; Stacklist users claim its reporting is sub-par when compared to more comprehensive CRMs, and note that the overall platform isn’t as customizable.
Base is the best fit for larger Seed-stage and Series A startups that don’t need all of the reporting and customization options of monolith CRMs like Salesforce, but are still looking for a full-featured service.
Base offers three different pricing plans, as well as a free 14-day trial. Starter: $25/user/month. Offers basic sales tracking for up to five users. Professional: $75/user/month. Unlocks additional features like sales forecasting and task automation. Enterprise: $125/user/month. Includes more advanced features like call analytics, lead scoring and multi-level permissions.
