We used BaseCRM over two years ago but it was too lightweight. I wouldn’t say Salesforce is great.

I really like Base! We didn’t need a CRM before we built our back-end system for delivery orders. But since we are also doing wholesale orders right now, it makes sense for our sales team to use a CRM. We just finished the integration with our backend so things push together very well and are in sync. One thing I would like to have is webhooks, so when actions happen, it automatically communicates with our back end.

Base is a customer relationship management software that excels at focusing in on your sales pipeline through an intuitive interface and easy task management. It has a nice spread of features for midsized startups that make it useful but not overwhelming, and it also has a mobile app for on-the-go needs. That said, Base doesn’t have many of the features (or quality of features) that are essential for larger companies; Stacklist users claim its reporting is sub-par when compared to more comprehensive CRMs, and note that the overall platform isn’t as customizable.
