We use Marketo for our marketing automation. It’s very heavy. It was kind of complicated and difficult to set up, but now that we have it working, it’s great. But any changes you want to make take a while because it is a slow moving, difficult process for this software.

We have used MailChimp in the past but we are switching to Marketo. Marketo replaces a lot of different products we are using. Marketo has a lot of bells and whistles--it does landing pages, A/B testing, everything a software suite needs to do. It’s a really cool product.
CEO - ReviewTrackers
Marketo behavioral scoring is really good. We want our salespeople to be able to effectively track their leads, and Marketo is really effective in this sense.

3%Stacklist Startups Are Using Marketo
Marketo is used by B2B startups who value its profound marketing insights and don’t shy away from its price--usually those beyond Series A. Companies that find Marketo most useful are heavily invested in expanding their brand’s presence through content marketing and social media, and have large marketing and sales departments.
Marketo has four pricing plans that scale with the number of users and available features. The Spark package costs $895 per month, allows for five users and includes Marketo’s most important (and basic) services, like email marketing and event management. The Standard package, at $1,795 per month, allows for 10 users and adds features like A/B testing and funnel-building. The Select package costs $3,195 per month, grants access for 20 users, and adds even more features like custom user roles and advanced email analytics. For those looking for a more customized option, the Enterprise package can be tailored to your needs and requires a quote from the company.
