I like that Xero has an online version. Also, I feel that it is more user friendly than QuickBooks. You can link bank accounts and cards to it pretty seamlessly.

Xero does a good job at a very, very reasonable price. It connects with most credit cards and bank accounts. All our French and US bank accounts sync with Xero which is great. Although we have one issue with GAAP, they don’t manage French GAAP correctly as I was told. That’s what our CPA told us, and we might be risking some penalties. But for our size, I’m not too worried about that for now.

It works well for us as we are on the Enterprise solution now. Not great on a cloud standpoint or for Mac. For smaller companies, Xero is probably the best choice.

11%Stacklist Startups Are Using Xero
Xero does everything it can to promote ease of use, and therefore sacrifices some of the more complex features offered by larger services, such as inventory management (which Xero only offers via a third-party add-on). Xero is used almost exclusively by Seed-stage startups that have simpler accounting needs and don’t want the learning curve that comes with a more complex tool like QuickBooks.
Xero has three pricing plans: a starter plan at $9 per month, a standard plan for $30 per month, and a premium plan for $70 per month.
