Lauren Perkins is a serial entrepreneur, full-stack CMO, and speaker known for creating high-performing teams and helping companies achieve aggressive growth goals. She is an expert at scaling marketing, data & insights, building communities, and creating brands that drive demand. Her signature approach to growth: “Think like a Brand. Act like a Startup.”™ has been fire tested with hundreds of startups as a founding instructor at General Assembly and EIR at Columbia University. She has spent a decade working as a CMO with startups, scale-ups, and corporate innovators. The author of “The Community Manager’s Playbook” is working on book #2 to share this experience. Since 2008, Jae Ellard has been teaching awareness as a business skill, delivering workshops and keynotes to employees at multinational corporations such as Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook and others in over 50 countries. Jae has authored seven books and hundreds of articles on the topics of awareness, balance, communication and stress management. She is a Trained Mindfulness Facilitator (TMF) graduate from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) and has a Bachelors and Master’s degree in communication. She holds certificates in co-active coaching, organizational relationship systems coaching, mindfulness mastery and is also a certified Yoga & Ayurvedic Wellness Consultant and yoga teacher.
