About The Talk
On June 25th we’re speaking with Naj Austin, Founder & CEO of Somewhere Good, a social and wellness platform centering people of color through community, arts, and culture.
Somewhere Good is the parent company of Ethel’s Club, a social and wellness club for people of color, and Form No Form, a 24 hour visual channel celebrating artists of color.
Somewhere Good’s first brand, Ethel’s Club launched in November 2019 as a physical space with a 4,300 person waitlist. Amid the pandemic, they’ve had to close the doors to their brick and mortar location and have started virtual memberships and events.
Because of her work, Naj was recently named one of Inc’s 100 Female Founders transforming America, a Huffpost Culture Shifter of 2020 and Time Out New York’s 2020 list of women making NYC better.
Join us at 10 am as we chat with Naj about creating a community and what she’s learned building Ethel’s Club.
