Infusionsoft is primarily an email automation software, but it has a built-in CRM. All the information that we have is CRM driven and we analyze that before our emails go out. Before, we used to use Insightly but we needed to upgrade. It’s been better not having a separate CRM and a email marketing software.
We use Infusionsoft for our CRM and email automation. We have a lot of email automated followups and marketing campaigns that we can do with Infusionsoft. We used to use MailChimp, but it didn’t have a built-in CRM. Infusionsoft ended up replacing a lot of software that we were using.
Wave is good for invoicing. It’s super easy to collect credit card payments because it integrates with Stripe. I love the fluidity of sending invoices with Wave. It’s super easy for our customers to pay us. However, they only accept one currency per account. We can’t just have one Wave account; we need two separate accounts for Canadian dollars and USD. I’ve talked to them to see if there’s a way to manage one account to manage multiple currencies. Apart from that it’s great - that’s really the only con.
We use Asana. It’s good for coordinating with our outsourced people in Pakistan (in a different time zone). Asana has been super useful. One con with Asana is that you can’t visually plot out a project with multiple members on a timeline. I emailed them at some point about that and they told me about a third party plugin (Instagantt) that you can use to make Gantt charts to visualize projects.
