We have a whole data-capturing client portal built right into our website and our CRM. We use Google Analytics alongside it, but I let my team handle it. I get analytics reports from them each week, and as long as the information is good I don't care how they get it. I try to let my team handle the software choices.
We use Streak for all of our email communications, and it's great. We use it all the time. We have like 40-50 email templates to use, and can track when everything is happening with our customers. We can get warnings when people don't open their emails, or we can see exactly when they opened their emails. It's great for us because we're so focused on personal communication.
