We use UserVoice for our help desk and knowledge base. Ticketing in UserVoice is really easy, and it’s integrated with Salesforce, so all of our support tickets are also in Salesforce. It’d be great if you could replace one product with the other, or combine the two! One tool’s shortcomings are met by the other, so you have to use both. But it’d be great if they were just combined into one.
For us, one of the biggest benefits of using Marketo is that we’re able to integrate the customer information from our SaaS product into Marketo. This allows us to trigger emails and alerts in Marketo, based on Oktopost.
Recordit is a program for Mac that allows you to make a recording of your screen and then easily turn it into an animated GIF. Sometimes it’s useful to send an animated GIF in an email or use it in the knowledge base to get a point across more easily than a block of text. It’s a really quick process and a really cool platform; you just click a button and then download the GIF.
Trello is really easy to use. All of our different departments use it. For example, HR uses it to track recruitment, engineering uses it to track product, and we also use it to track our content pipeline.
We use Oktopost, of course. It’s really the only B2B social media platform there is! One of the great things about our company is that we develop a product for marketers, and market and sell to marketers. In other words, we deal every day with the same issues and nuances that our customers deal with, which puts us in a super interesting position. We can share information with customers, and between customers, and we really know what they’re all going through, since we’re going through it too. We’re really proud of our ability to track and prove that social media is bringing real value to businesses. We also integrate with Marketo, Salesfusion, Act-On, Eloqua, Pardot, HubSpot, and Salesforce, which is a huge selling point for our product.
