We use Reply.io to do outbound prospecting and handle inbound leads. We set up Zapier integration to pass all our qualified inbound trial leads to Reply.io and the system will send emails and follow-ups to trial users on behalf of sales reps. This allows us to get in touch with more trial users with no effort and help them with understanding the product better.
We switched from Salesforce to ProsperWorks. It is three times cheaper and we love it much better. I think that, if your sales team size is up to 10 people, you may not need all the features that Salesforce provides right away. ProsperWorks natively integrates with Gmail and shows you all conversation with specific prospect in one place, without ever the need to BCC. The pipeline is visually better. The Chrome plugin is great as well.
We use Pipefy to organize our recruiting process and new teammate on-boarding. It is really good for setting up different processes. It is simple like Trello, but designed specifically for workflows.
We use Chargebee to handle our recurring payments, account upgrades, invoices, etc. ChargeBee is the best tool on the market for recurring payments. I wish I had found it 2-3 years ago--Recurly and Chargify are not standing anywhere close to them.
