We are using MailChimp through Squarespace. Even though it is a fine tool, we would like to have a more direct connection with our customers. MailChimp has a partnership with Squarespace, but our customers still have to go through an intermediary step where the email appears to be going through MailChimp. They should get rid of that.
I personally use Evernote a lot. It has a great web clipper function that you can embed into your browser and allows you to save the data that you want. You can save the whole page as a note and write on it. When you scan business cards, Evernote recognizes the fields and connects you to that person automatically through LinkedIn. I can tag each note, or even geotag them, and it is really easy to search through them. When you are looking at your notes, it gives you suggestion of similar notes that you have written or it pulls up relevant articles. With the premium version, you also get storage and the ability to take a snapshot of the cards.
