We post things on LinkedIn and Craigslist, but haven’t done any high-level headhunting yet.

We find people mainly through word of mouth. Sometimes, we find new recruits through posts on Facebook or Craigslist.

For local freelancers, we have started using Craigslist. You can find local professional freelancers who know what they are doing and just want to get the job done.

We use Craigslist when we need people to do guerrilla marketing for us.

We managed to get a really good CTR rate in terms of audience targeting and got really good results from Facebook Ads. With the other 3, applicants do roll in, but Facebook Ads are really good because of the content and being able to pinpoint our target audience directly (something that isn’t as strong in Craigslist or Indeed).

We always find someone on Craigslist. Most of our jobs openings do not require particular skills.

We’ve been disappointed with AngelList. They candidates they recommend to us only fit maybe 1 of our criteria, so what they send us doesn’t seem very thoughtful. We’ve had better luck with Craigslist than AngelList.

Craigslist and Indeed are great places to post jobs. Indeed is the easiest of all the recruiting tools we use.

We usually hire from within our network. But we have hired partner agents via Craigslist. Craigslist is really good for finding hourly employees, contractors, and for finding the long tail of interested parties that have random qualifications.

When we expand to new cities, we use Craigslist and LinkedIn to network, and get to know the new communities. Generally, people looking for community and marketing positions look there, so that’s where we look to fill those positions.

Craigslist has been the best place to recruit.

I’ve found really good people on Craigslist. We make videos (and distribute them) for brands like Honest Company and Lilo for our B2C side. We have been able to find really good talent for these videos on Craigslist. We also found our amazing female developer on Craigslist!

We recruit for management positions through our networks, but we use Craigslist for hourly employees. We’ve tried newer platforms, but they haven’t yielded the same positive results.

Craigslist and Indeed are not bad, but it can be hard to get interest at each new school. We just expanded to a campus in Georgia, and we need a lot of drivers, and we’re not getting many hits from Craigslist or Indeed. We’ve found way more people via Facebook, Twitter and reps at each school just handing out flyers to students.

For customer service positions, we’ve found that we get more applicants when we post them on Craigslist.

We use Craigslist for recruiting. We’re in the Bay Area, but in Marin, outside of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Things like AngelList are great for the city, but we pull from areas farther north, and people here are looking at Craigslist for jobs. It’s been great. We hired 40 people this year, all via referrals or Craigslist.

We use Craigslist and QuadJobs to find college interns and people for one-off and smaller jobs.

We post for our service providers on Craigslist and Indeed.
