We use Monday for non-dev day-to-day project management. We have some people chaperone both systems to make sure they are synced. As it pertains to Monday (formerly Dapulse), we explored a couple of tools. Monday is the most nimble to meet needs. We started using it and we were happy so we kept using it. At first we used Trello, but we felt that Trello was not good enough to effectively communicate among cross-continent teams and keep everybody engaged & informed. The time difference of 7 hours is big and a system that can manage that and adapt like Monday is good for handling most of what we need.

I used to work with Asana but dapulse is so much better. You can assign groups and can configure the tasks yourself. The workflow is also really nice--you have different boards for each sector (marketing, software, etc). The boards can be public or private and can be broken into sections. It is very intuitive.

Our entire team is on dapulse, and it just works well for us. It’s very customizable. We might try something like Basecamp or JIRA in the future, but we’ve reached a saturation point with the number of tools we’re using. So unless something can replace a few different tools, we’re not going to add anything new.
