We are using Highrise HQ. It has a Google Mail plug-in, so our sales people do not need to import the contacts and I can easily see what new ones are created. It saves the sales team a lot of time to be able to create contacts automatically. It’s also really affordable: $8-9 per user. They have a bunch of integrations--you can connect them with pretty much anything. It also integrates with Zapier.

Highrise is a great tool some of us at MailClark are using to individually manage contacts and tasks, but it won’t become our team CRM.

Highrise - Best CRM Tools for Startups

One of the most lightweight options around, Highrise is a customer relationship management software that helps you manage communications between your employees and customers. Highrise is so lightweight, in fact, that it doesn’t even call itself a CRM, but rather a contact management software that helps you stay organized. It focuses only on syncing your email, contact book and project management tools, which makes it distinct from other CRM platforms like Salesforce, RelateIQ and even Pipedrive that offer more in the way of tracking communications, pipeline and customer data.

How startups use Highrise?

It is used by a mix of Seed and Series A startups that run a lean operation. As they grow, they tend to adopt a CRM platform with broader functionality.

How much does Highrise cost?

Highrise has four pricing plans, defined by the number of users allowed, as well as contacts, storage and deals it tracks per month. The Basic plan costs $24 a month and allows for six users, 5,000 contacts, 10 deals and 5GB of storage. Highrise Plus costs $49 a month and allows for 15 users, 20,000 contacts, unlimited deals and 15GB of storage. Highrise Premium costs $99 a month and allows for 40 users, 30,000 contacts, unlimited deals and 30GB of storage. Lastly, Highrise Max costs $149 a month, but allows for unlimited users, 50,000 contacts, unlimited deals and 75GB of storage.
