Most of a company’s internal communication happens around actions, and tasks that we are doing. In Hive everything starts with a new action notification. Let’s say someone calls me and someone else answers. This person will send me an action notification with a call back task. Let say we have to organize an event: with Hive, you can start a board and keep the conversation about the subject in the same board. Everything is stored in the topic that we are talking about. If we are done with the task we can archive it but if we need to organize the same event next year, for example, we can just find it in the archive and copy what we did last time. Communication in Slack happens in no man’s land. With our tool, people do not have to weed through a lot of unrelated communication in order to find what they need.
CEO - Hive
We use Hive to run everything we do in terms of working together. It’s a combination of Slack, Asana, Trello and Smartsheet. If you look at tools like Trello, Asana and Slack you definitely have to have them speak to each other, and it’s really annoying to have different logins for each of them. You might need Asana for more complex projects, but for product roadmaps that are more simple, Asana is annoying to use. You can build integrations between them but with Hive you can avoid having 3 different subscriptions. If your conversations and tasks are in the same platform, you can drag the message into an action list. It’s neater and feels better.
