Co-founder - Beau
We use Hotjar for analyzing visitor interactions on our website and record sessions so we can see how users interact on our website and the websites we build for clients.
Managing Director - Evoluted
We use Hotjar for heatmaps and session tracking. One of our engineers was familiar with the tool. We were using Inspectlet before, but it became very expensive. There isn’t anything that one session tracker does better than the other, so why pay more?
Co-founder & CEO - Occasion
With Hotjar, you can see how users behave on your site. It creates heat maps, user recordings and even funnel analysis graphs for you.
Founder - HandUp
Hotjar is an analytics tool dedicated to UX. It provides heatmaps to see where people click on your site and how many people scroll down to the bottom of the site. You can also record sessions of users. If you have someone signing up, you can see the flow of that user, and see how they go through your site for the first time. People tend to move the mouse to where their eyes are looking on a website so you can see where their attention goes.
Co-founder & CEO - Gorgias
We use Hotjar for recordings and click maps to see how people use our website. Then we optimize our site based on that information. It’s really good! Their free plan does everything we need it to do, and it’s been a great tool for us. You do have to clear out the history periodically to stay on the free plan, but it’s not a lot of extra work.
Co-founder - Croissant
We use this regularly for conversion rate optimization. They have a great freemium version that gives you a lot of information without having to have to make a big cash outlay. You can get a lot of value out of it.
