We have Insightly and we like it so far. Our customers are big retailers and there are only so many of them and each has a different need. Our solutions are customized to each customer.

The group and data sharing aspects are the most important parts of the tool. We have just really been embracing it now. We’re fairly low on the learning curve.

We have not deployed an email marketing specific tool. We use Insightly for CRM, and we do a fair amount of emailing out of that tool, so you could call that email marketing.

Infusionsoft is primarily an email automation software, but it has a built-in CRM. All the information that we have is CRM driven and we analyze that before our emails go out. Before, we used to use Insightly but we needed to upgrade. It’s been better not having a separate CRM and a email marketing software.

Microsoft Dynamics is a great CRM. The only downfall is that the integration with Gmail is exceptionally poor. It is hard to find a good CRM system out there. We looked into some but were not able to choose a good one. Salesforce is too expensive. Insightly is too basic and does not do any type of rules management.

Insightly is okay. You have to go in and do a lot of manually tagging of people, but we like how it allows us to do group CRM management.

We just started using Insightly, and the integration with Gmail was a major selling point for us. It’s been useful for tracking all of our communication with people. Before, our records were all over the place, and it was frustrating not knowing who had or hadn’t responded to someone. Insightly has been very helpful with getting us organized, and cutting down on that confusion and frustration.

Insightly is an easy-to-use, lower-cost option that will integrate into your email, calendar and filing system. The database of record for Insightly is easy to review and update. It also has great integration with Google Apps, and direct integration with MailChimp, which makes it easy to use with other services. My favorite aspect is the ability to update via mobile devices, which I didn't view as easy for other services. I also love the ability to click on an email and save it in Insightly as a record for the client. And, it’s free for first three members!

When our Salesforce license runs out we'll use Insightly. It's just lighter-weight. All of the tools that we subscribe to and are switching to are much lighter-weight. Anything that is heavy takes longer for new people to use. I'd rather sacrifice features and be able to bring people in and out as I need them.

2%Stacklist Startups Are Using Insightly
Despite its low price points, Insightly is used most often by Series A and B companies than seed-stage startups, who tend to have more information spread across multiple platforms and appreciate Insightly’s ability to simplify their life with integration capabilities and a simple interface.
Insightly offers five pricing plans. Its first, the free version, allows for two users and offers a limited amount of features like eight custom fields, 2,500 records, 200MB of storage space and an import limit. Each subsequent plan offers unlimited users and boosts the previously stated limits, with some additional features. The Basic plan costs $12/user per month; the Plus plan costs $29/user per month; the Professional plan costs $49/user per month; and lastly the Enterprise plan costs $99/user per month.
