We use Lately for our marketing calendar.
As a team, we use a combination of Lately, Dropbox and Google Drive. But for marketing, Lately integrates with Google Drive, Box, Dropbox or OneDrive and automatically mirrors those files so we know that everything lives in the same place and don't have to chase it down.
Our integrated project management lets you assign tasks to marketing team members and track productivity in the same place as the rest of your marketing. You can also associate tasks with specific campaigns so it's easy to connect workflow to results. Down the road, we’ll integrate with Trello, too.
Our Omni-Analytics is the only analytic tool that lets you instantly see all of your analytics across all of your social media channels and your website in a single, whole-picture view. You can also click through any data point to see the content published that day and analytic detail, so there’s a clear understanding of what caused that spike.
Through Lately you can manage all of your channels and publish to them. You can create bulk content and publish it without using a .csv file. You can clone posts and post them on other channels. We keep all of your social posts in a library with a tagging system and we connect them through analytics. You can take a newsletter or blog and you put it through a social post generator and we’ll parse that newsletter for you into dozens of quotes and automatically put a short link or hashtag on each one for you. We take every social post that you create and put it into a marketing calendar so you can see how all of your channels work together. Down the road, we will integrate MailChimp publishing from our dashboard, too. We’re not integrated with Instagram because no one is, as Instagram is a close system to automatic posts. We can only remind you to post, basically the same way Later does, but like them and everyone, we just can’t push it for you. Some companies claim that they can publish on Instagram but what they do is basically take your password and post as you, which is not legal.
