We were having a lot of success posting jobs on LinkedIn, in terms of getting applications, but we’re a small team, so each manager is in charge of hiring for the roles on their team. So, we needed something to manage the recruiting process from start to finish. Lever allows us to move candidates down the pipeline and show the process from start to finish. We can schedule interviews straight from there, keep all our notes there, tag different colleagues if we realize someone would be great for their role, and show if an offer was extended. We can also archive candidates and save them for a future opportunity. Having something beyond just posting helps you manage the process start to finish.

We are still with Lever--it is scaling well for us.

We used Lever as a candidate management tool. We switched over from another tool.

We used Lever as an application tracking system when we were hiring more heavily and I really liked it. It is easy to use, and way simpler than other tools out there. It makes sense to have it if you have a dedicated HR person. We stopped because it was expensive.

We used to use Lever for the hiring process, but it was too expensive, and also not everyone was using it properly, so it created confusion.

I like Lever. It’s useful. I don’t feel super strongly that it’s an incredible product, but I’m happy with it.

We use Lever for applicant tracking, and they are awesome. They are much better than the platform we upgraded from because they do a great job of making sure that we follow up with everyone that applies and have a great price point for what we need.

Lever is a great ATS. Their ability to set up various work flows for whatever we need in our hiring process does a lot to remove friction at every step in the process. They have a great LinkedIn integration. It’s a Chrome extension, so when you’re on someone’s profile, with a click of a button, that person gets put into your ATS. It makes something that would be a data entry task turn into half a second. As a startup or small business, you don’t have a full recruiting team, it’s on you. I’m a fan of any product that reduces barriers in a good way, and Lever has done that with applicant tracking.

I mostly use Lever to organize my stuff.

They are good. We have been using them for more than 4 years.

We knew Lever, and a couple companies we have relationships with (and trust) were using it, so we decided to go with it.

We use Lever for applicant tracking, and we’re pretty happy with it. Back in the early days, we tried out JobScore and Jobvite, but we couldn’t stand them! We started using Lever when we closed Series A last year and had to go on a hiring spree, hiring about 10 people in just a few months. We were suddenly inundated with a ton of inbound leads and resumes. Lever got us a lot more organized with our interview processes. Like Asana, the interface can be complicated, but I appreciate how much you can do with it and how it can help to manage a crazy amount of complexity. One of the cons is that their mobile experience leaves a lot to be desired. A good ATS is an incredible value-add if you use it properly.

We’ve been happy with Lever. At this point we’re hiring 1-5 people a month. Of the solutions we use, Lever feels the most akin to our culture. The information Lever provides feels so secure, and you need to keep that information so compartmentalized in your organization because it’s sensitive. It just matches our culture--we’re open as much as we can be, but we’re also cognizant of these sensitivities.
