We really didn't need anything. Our style wasn't "project-based” in the same way that tech development might be. We used Excel a lot, and we had to track offline orders through a service called Komida. They were pretty good for what we needed. Either something was handled in Komida, or we would keep track of it in Salesforce.

Google Docs has been enough for us. It's worked as well as Asana. Google Docs and Google Drive just kill everything because of their simplicity and shareability.
