We’re currently implementing Pardot, which is a Salesforce platform and therefore, fully integrated with our CRM. The onboarding time is quite cumbersome, but we anticipate it saving significant time on the backend and are confident it’s a platform we can grow with for the foreseeable future.

We switched over to Salesforce for our CRM 3 months ago and along with that we took Pardot. Previously we used MailChimp. Pardot is a more complete marketing funnel tool that allows you to send different messages for different stages in the sales funnel so it’s definitely more complex.

We use Salesforce's marketing automation system. I’m a former 5-time VP of marketing and was an early adopter of Salesforce. When we built our software we built it on the Salesforce platform so we wanted to make sure we knew all of the Salesforce products well so that we could partner with them.

Pardot is a Salesforce tool, which allows for a deep integration between our sales and marketing funnel.

We moved from MailChimp to Pardot, because we send out a lot of transactional emails, and they are much more important than campaign emails at this point. Pardot is better for that.

Pardot is great. It is fully integrated with Salesforce.

Pardot is a Salesforce tool. We are at a very early stage with it. So far, we like it; it’s very usable, especially comparable to other enterprise tools out there. We get good analytics on emails.
VP Marketing - Moogsoft
Pardot is very easy to use and integrates perfectly with Salesforce.
Co-founder & CMO - Terminus
Pardot is great for tracking everything we are doing with our marketing.
Co-founder & CEO - Concord
Pardot is complex but it's very good. Once you learn how to use it, it’s very colorful. There was definitely a learning curve, but they have a good learning center to get you up to speed. There was lot of experimenting in the beginning; it took us about one month to really get it up and running.
Co-founder & CEO - Concord
Pardot is great--it’s part of the custom Salesforce solution we’re having built for us. They have a direct API with Salesforce. What Pardot will give us over MailChimp is much more robust analytical information about our email campaigns.

Pardot is a marketing automation platform that, on top of email marketing capabilities, also covers ROI reporting, social marketing, sales intelligence and lead management. The most unique aspect of Pardot, when compared to marketing automation competitors like HubSpot and Marketo, is that it is a branch of Salesforce, making it particularly effective when used in conjunction with that CRM platform.
Customers tend to be Series A and beyond who have a large enough customer base and enough internal resources to be using Salesforce for CRM. Many of them choose Pardot specifically because of its tight integration with Salesforce.
Pardot has three pricing packages: Standard at $1,000 a month; Pro at $2,000 a month; and Ultimate at $3,000 a month. Each upgrade allows for additional features like chat support, advanced analytics, phone support and custom user roles.
