We use Periscope for data visualization. We track a lot so Periscope is valuable for us to match up data from various sources. It’s on the expensive end for a company of our size, but we use it as much as possible because there’s plenty of value to be had and it’s one of our favorite products.
Co-founder & Chief Product Officer - Clark
Periscope Data provides analytics dashboards and allows for them to be sent directly through email. We do not need it that much yet. It’s nice that you can write a little bit of SQL code and see a great graph come up.
Founder & President - RippleMatch
Periscope allows us to take data and displays it in charts on a dashboard. You need to know SQL to use it effectively.
Marketing Director - Clarifai
Periscope is very powerful. It integrates with our Redshift database. They allow SQL snippets which are very powerful. We can build reusable analytics shortcuts and use a simple snippet in a lot of different queries.
VP of Technology - Gust
Periscope makes sophisticated analysis into fast and simple processes. It has made our company more data-driven.
Co-founder & CEO - Periscope
We use Redshift for data warehousing and Periscope for visualizations. These tools are enterprise-scaled and allow you to collect raw data and do whatever you want with that.
Co-founder & CTO - Tailor Brands
Periscope Data is the premiere open-source analytics tool. We have a bit of an in-house approach towards data currently. We collect all user interactions and use Periscope to aggregate it anonymously to get a holistic sense of what’s going on across the app, which means we don’t need to use Mixpanel.
Co-founder & CEO - Roadmunk
Periscope gives us quick-to-develop dashboarding tools. We are very pleased with it.
COO - Higher Ed Growth
Periscope Data helps me visualize random queries. We don't use this on a day-to-day basis. It’s useful when I need charts that I can plug-in into a spreadsheet or PowerPoint.
Co-founder & CEO - Mammoth
We use Periscope to visualize things.
Co-founder - BuildZoom
For reporting, we use Periscope very lightly.
Co-founder - FullContact
Periscope, which was a company in our AngelPad batch, is all SQL-based. We can directly tie in graphs and bar charts like you we can with Geckoboard, but they’re tied to SQL queries. So with Periscope, a marketing person can do it, even if they don’t know how to code, as long as they know SQL (which a lot of people do). You can easily build custom dashboards without bothering the engineering team.
Co-founder - Kinnek
