At the moment, we are only using Postmark to manage transactional emails within our app. It’s been good so far. We chose it because it was the one that our developers preferred.

For me, the key to a good application is simplicity. It does not need to have an incredible amount of features, as you can get lost and annoyed. MailChimp has a clean UI; it’s transparent and easy to use. With MailChimp, we can automate our blog posts, which is very useful as we have over 50,000 people on our email list. The security features are also great. In addition to MailChimp, we use Postmark as it helps us with tracking email performance and with troubleshooting.

We use Postmark for sending transactional mail from our app (e.g., when you invite a new team member, etc.). It’s easier than running our own mail servers and digging into mail logs when something doesn’t go right. We like it, but it is pricier than Amazon Web Services and other competitors.

We now send out emails using Postmark. Our software is interfaced with Postmark, which makes everything more streamlined than using something like VerticalResponse, which we had used for a while in the beginning.
