SalesLoft is good for sending out emails in a sales capacity. At the time we chose SalesLoft, it was the only email provider that integrated into Gmail. They also integrated really well into Salesforce.

Our sales development reps use Sendbloom. The company is pretty new, so we haven’t used them a ton yet. But so far, it’s been a good, simple tool. We’re comparing this with SalesLoft Cadence right now. They’re pretty similar products, but SalesLoft Cadence also includes phone calls through the app, and allows you to easily record phone call interactions, which are nice advantages.

We used SalesLoft for a while for sending cold emails and to do outreach to drum up interest. They were OK. They weren’t anything to rave about, but there was nothing particularly wrong with them. What was great about using them was that when you did a LinkedIn search, they had a browser plugin that would pull people into your system. And they would guess what people’s emails were, based on their name and company. Sometimes they would know for sure, and provide you with verified emails, and sometimes they would just guess. It was a good way to build a list of people to reach out to. We stopped using them because we decided that sending cold emails was not the way we wanted to go.
